I used 4 different designs of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. A die from the new Online Exclusive die set, Fancy Borders, was used to cut the Night of Navy strip dividing the 2 wood grain designs.

Here's an up-close view of the image. It was stamped on the designer series paper in Night of Navy. The frame was cut with a die from the Framed Scenes Bundle.

Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper Simple Flip Up Card

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I want to share with you a beautiful and easy-to-make card using the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper. The Pretty Peacock piece on the front flips up to reveal a sentiment. This paper is part of our scrapbook paper in that it only has 3 double-sided designs but has 4 sheets of each design.

At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurement and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom.

Shown here is the front view of the card.

This side view shows how the front section lifts up.

I'm in love with the Spring Corners Stamp set and dies. One of them was used to cut the flower in the corner. A piece of the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper was adhered behind the cut-out section.

The Distressed Tiles Embossing Folder turns a drab piece of cardstock to a wow!

This is the front piece that flips up and displays the sentiment.

Here is the inside with the sentiment. On my video I changed the sentiment to a birthday card. The flowers in the lower right-hand corner are positioned to hold the front flap down.

Tearing Technique with the Beautiful Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I want to share with you a beautiful and easy-to-make card using the tearing technique and the beautiful Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper.

At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurement and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom.

Shown here is the front view of the card.

To tear the papers, I put a Basic Black piece the same size at the designer series paper (4" x 3 1/2") behind the designer series paper. I tore from the upper right-hand corner 1" down, diagonally, to 1" from the bottom left-hand corner. See below.

I then separated the two pieces and adhered them together, so I had about a quarter inch border showing.

A 4" x 3 1/2" piece of Poppy Parade was embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder and adhered to the center front. This piece has to be adhered first to help you determine where to place the torn pieces.

The torn piece are then adhered to the card front with an even border all around.

2 dies from Beautiful Wishes were used to cut "wishing" and adhered together. The sentiment from the same bundle was stamped and adhered with dimensionals below. The flower is also from the same die set.

Unbounded Love is the stamp set I used for the inside sentiment. The flower is from Beautiful Wishes stamp set. Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo were the inks I used.
